Who are we
Wireless Community Camp 2007 is hosted and organised by Wifisoft Foundation.
The Wifisoft.org Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that initiates and stimulates local and international cooperation between communities that administrate a public wireless network.
Wifisoft.org achieves and facilitates cooperation between Wireless Communities via the Internet. We organize and facilitate lectures and hands-on workshops. Next to this Wifisoft.org develops and maintains open source software.
What is Wireless Community Camp?
This year the Wifisoft.org Foundation organises its Wireless Community Camp for the second time from Monday August 13th until Sunday August 19th 2007. WCC2007 is all about hacking computers, camping, dining, drinking, having fun with people who love computers.
A week of camping at the grounds of Shawano Scouting in the town of Oegstgeest, in which everything revolves around working with computers, building antennas, wireless connections for the Internet and of course around having lots of fun.
There is an extensive daily program of lectures, workshops and excursions for beginners as well as for those more advanced. A range of experts from the world of antenna building en wireless networks will be present to give lectures and demonstrations, in which visitors are encouraged to participate.
Wireless sailing
On Saturday August 18th it is time for the boat trip on the waterways around the city of Leiden, which by now has become a tradition, where you can test antennas and wireless connections or just enjoy the view over the Dutch lowlands.
